Razor Posted September 19, 2018 Share Posted September 19, 2018 I am demonstrating the Vive to a large group and asking for a volunteer from the audience but I need to extend my display to a seperate display screen. My laptop only has one HDMI output. Is it just a case of getting a different laptop with an additional HDMI out or is it more complicated than that to do? HackPerception Posted September 19, 2018 Share Posted September 19, 2018 , I would first check to see what other ports your laptop has - it will probably a MiniDisplayport/Thunderbolt port. I would use that 2nd output to drive the projector via whichever adapter makes sense in your situation. I'd recommend mirroring to external display or using it at the sole primary display as rendering mirrors on multiple monitors will kill your perf.
