Allteon Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 I have done the following Confirmed my vive is working with being tethered uninstalled a reinstalled steam vr disconnected the link box confirmed it was not the cord connecting from wirless unit to vive by tring tethered cord updated drivers I believe it may be to this driver not working. no drivers are showing up in steam vr under setting/usb Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the issue still persists, please install DisplayLink driver maunually.(C:\Program Files\VIVE Wireless\DisplayLink\DisplayLinkXR.msi) Thanks. HackPerception Posted October 5, 2018 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Do you still have the display cable (HDMI/MiniDP) plugged into your wired linkbox when attempting to use the adapter? Allteon Posted October 11, 2018 Author Share Posted October 11, 2018 No I was not. On Sunday Oct 7th I was chatting with tech support for two hours. we were unable to get it to work. SockenRaider Posted October 11, 2018 Share Posted October 11, 2018 Same Problem with the Vive Pro. When i start Steam-VR i get Error 208 and sometimes 108. I can connect it via cable and then plug it in the wireless-adapter "on the fly". Then Steam-VR say "OK" and i have wireless tracking, but the screen go black.
