Gussmed
Running Steam VR with a wired Vive switches the audio from speakers to the Vive HMD. This worked with the TPCast as well. With the HTC wireless adapter, the audio remains set to speakers, and I have to manually change the audio output to the Vive after the Vive connects. HackPerception
, Are you talking about Window's UI or SteamVR's UI? Does right clicking the value in Window's "Playback" UI and setting it as the default correct this behavior? Conversely, do you have another source set as the default which is causing this behavior? Gussmed
I’m talking about the Windows 10 UI. I’ve been accessing audio via the system tray. I wasn’t aware that right-clicking a sound source did anything. Certainly there’s no feedback saying it sets the default. It appears that after setting the 7-Vive device as the default device, connecting the headset via the wireless adapter automatically selects the Vive headphones. Thanks, this is resolved.
