Viveport Installer Crashes

I'm trying to install Viveport so I can use my subscription. I can reach the Sign In step of installation, be it through ViveportSetup.exe or ViveSetup.exe, but when i click the Sign In button, the installer hangs then crashes.

System Info:

  • Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit, Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
  • 5820k CPU, 16GB RAM

I've tried

  • Changing my default browser
  • using a different browser to download the installers
  • running the installers as an admin
  • restarting my PC into safe mode
  • updating display drivers
  • uninstalling old vive software
  • disabling my anti virus

Running the software on a Windows 10 system had no errors. I'm not sure what else to try to fix this.

You can't do anything with it, the devs need to take a look at 0x0130609e of the viveport installer object file with symbol information, figure out why it's crashing and fix it.
