explorer1020 Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 When I try to install VIVEWirelessSetup.exe I am getting an error "VIVE Wireless need SteamVR installed first. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SteamVR and tried to install the software again but still getting the same error. My system is ASRock motherboard with intel i7-6700K and NVIDIA Gforce GTX 970 running Win 10 Pro. My headset is VIVE Any help to fix this is appriciated. Nasher Posted December 12, 2018 Share Posted December 12, 2018 I've just received my wireless system and encountered the same issue. I was logged on as a standard user and trying to run the installation using 'Run As Administrator'. I logged on with an administrator account and it immediately installed without issue.
