sev7en
Good morning, I see the HTC Focus is able to work in the surround mode and show what's around. Does it is supporting the Augument Reality? If yes, how? Thanks and have a nice day,
HackPerception
, The Focus does have some limited AR functionality but we're not labeling it an AR device - it's a VR device with some AR functionality. Aside from the ability to view the feeds from the cameras in the HMD (available via an option in the device's settings), you're able to do things like style transfers over the footage. My favorite example of this is Beat Realty - it uses OpenCV to augment the video feeds artistically. We're not saying that the Focus can do AR/MR where you're inserting virtual objects in the real world/vice versa - the Snapdragon processor makes it pretty difficult to do that onboard. The Vive Pro is capable of this via the SRWorksSDK.
