HackPerception Posted December 1, 2018 Share Posted December 1, 2018 , As synthesis said, HDMI is simply and incompatibile display format and an HDMI port will never be able to drive the pro regardless of adapter or cable. If you have a Minidisplayport that's capable of driving DP 1.2+, you'll just need a Minidisplayport -> MiniDisplayport cable. We're recommending the 3 foot variation of this cable for laptops.
