Vive headset connected but not tracking

It's been about 2 weeks now, and my Vive headset still won't start tracking.  When I turn on SteamVR, it detects the headset and my 2 sensors, but it won't display any video. Then after 30 seconds, the light on the headset turns a solid red and my base stations turn gray in the SteamVR window. I've bought new 3-in-1 cables and tried a Displayport to HDMI Cable, but it still won't work.
