noahwhygodwhy
Hello, I'm trying to install viveport. I have steam and steamVR already, but it's insisting on installing steamVR again, and It's trying to do so on a drive I dont' want it installed on. I can change the location of "VIVE" (is that viveport?) but I can't change the location it's going to install steamVR in. How do I stop it from installing a duplicate steamVR in a location where I don't want a duplicate steamVR? Thanks, Noah
Synthesis
It shouldn't install a duplicate. It should detect there is SteamVR already and just skip that step. Is that not what is happening?Thank you, -John C
HackPerception
, It's good to point out that SteamVR is a program that's best installed on the C:\ drive as there are a host of potential issues that can arise from installing it on other volumes.
