Synthesis
How long are you waiting to charge the battery? Does the battery work when connected to other devices? (Phones, etc)Thank you, -John C
CHRAND!53
I'm having the same issue with the battery. What is Vive proposed to do about this issue ? We paid a great deal money for this wireless system not to work . Edited March 28, 2020 by CHRAND!
HackPerception
@CHRAND!53 - If it's not staying on, it's either because it's loosing connection to the wireless adapter (i.e. faulty USB cable to the HMD-side adapter) or the battery is potentially damaged. If the latter - I would recommend trying to get it replaced under RMA if it's under the warranty period via www.vive.com/support -> contact us -> contact us. Also, try a better quality thicker usb 3.0 cable to replace the fairly thin cable that came with the Wireless kit. This is worth trying to resolve this yourself because thanks to the worldwide coronovirus problem RMA's may take some time to be resolved.
HackPerception
@CHRAND!53 - Your wired HMD would have originally come with a USB A -> USB A cable used to connect the wired linkbox to the PC. You can use this cable to test with to isolate out the USB-A cable as the source of the fault.
