I have a couple of notes here: The PC must be hooked upto the internet at some point during the setup to download and install SteamVR/Steam. You cannot offline install these. SteamVR can certainly run offline and drive the HMD while disconnected as long as everything is installed before you go offline. The Steam client has an offline mode and thus you'll be able to play any VR games you download from Steam in offline mode. Note that Viveport does not currently support offline mode. If offline mode is a critical feature for you at this point, you'll want to hold your library within Steam. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
