Headset glitching?

It's my brothers headset but he allows me to use it. But one day when he said I could use it, I put it on and set everything up to play beat saber. It worked for a minute before all I could see was static. Then when I was able to see what was going on again, it was doubled. I could see what I was doing on each eye. As if I was watching a 360 video and set it for a headset but didn't use one. It worked perfectly fine a few days before.. Is it somehow broken?
