jtslade
I asked this on Reddit 1st. Its a good question as that would effect the value of a used Vive. Anyone have info on this?
GrimGreener
Cant answer about warranty... guess youd need a purchase receipt. Price is dependent on location, condition and market place. In UK I've seen boxless missing controllers going for £350 (probably from a guy wearing a black mask and black and white striped shirt) upto £900 from chancers on Ebay... as the new price is only £759. More typical price is £580-£680. As the 3 software titles arent included (as the keys will have been registered) I wouldnt pay more than £625. jtslade
Did more searching around and HTC pretty much asks for proof of purchase. Unless the Craigslist or Ebay includes this, your SOL if something goes wrong. So everyone thnking of ditching the Vive right before version 2.0 comes out may face issues. jtslade
I think its a 12 month warranty right? So I guess not much of an issue after its expired.
