MrRedstoneWolf
Will the Vive be compatible with Mac OS in the future?
GrimGreener
Yes. I've seen something somewhere to say it's coming. Sorry can't be more specific than that... but google should find it for you.
SaxOps1
Well, the problem is really hardware- seeing as MOST Mac's aren't very powerful. Sure, some can, but I don't believe most can (I may be wrong though, as I haven't checked Mac specs in a while).
colintve
I wouldnt expect it to come to Macs very quickly unless Apple actually do something of their own. Apple computers are lower specced PC's for the money and their costs are for the Mac OS and badge on the box, so it would make it too pricey for most people, I would expect, and therefor not financially incentifying enough. If Apple makes a VR of some sort, thats probably the most likely way for it to happen. Most Apple owners I know bought PCs for the VIVE and found out how much more powerful the computer was for the money. As the OS is getting less and less important, with browser based and cloud based software etc, the Mac is likely to lose ground rather than gain it. I would suggest buying a PC if you want to be an early adopter.
