Hi , sorry about the issues you're having.


We've seen that sometimes the initial download speeds can be slow, but gradually tend to increase over a short period (a few minutes). There are some other suggestions regarding download speeds in this thread, too.


Regarding crashes - are you saying the Vive desktop app crashes? If so, we'd appreciate it if you'd send us some logs to help diagnose. Here's how to do that:


After experiencing a crash in Viveport


1. Re-launch the Vive desktop client. 

2. Go to Settings.


3. Under Help, click Report Issue.


4. Fill in the required fields. If you can, please provide details on what you were doing at the time of the crash.


5. Click Archive Logs and Send.


6. Your email app will be launched to ask you to send out the logs. If you do not have an email app set up, then you will be shown where the logs are to mail them separately.
