jamesalliban
I'm making an app that will record and playback audio from the microphone. By default, Windows performs noise reduction which means you can't make sustained sounds. So if I sing "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH", the recorded sound reduces to nothing after 1-2 seconds. I found a solution here but I don't see an enhancements tab for the Vive microphone. I've tied a few microphones and it appears the settings/tabs vary depending on the product. I'm currently running Windows 8.1 and was wondering if the enhancements tab for the Vive mic is there in Windows 10. It would be really helpful if someone could quickly check this. Or if anyone has found an alternative way to fix this I'd love to hear from you :)
jamesalliban
Sorry to bump but I'd reaaally appreciate if someone could help here. If you have a Vive and Win10 it will just take 1 minute. Cheers!
