Vive Base Stations disconnecting

It's been a while since I could enjoy my Vive, and now with HL:Alyx I wanted to get back on it, but it is impossible.

Both Stations are solid green LED. A+B. ALL firmware of ALL components is up to date. After setting up, and working fine, within 20s both stations dissapear, display on grey, in Steam VR popup, while still solid green LED. I've tried everything. Thoughts?

Change the base station that has Channel A to C. You want to always use Channels B+C.

Let me know if that resolved it. Also, feel free to contact our customer support. They're quicker in response and is a sure way to get your issues resolved if you're on a time crunch.

Wow, everywhere I looked said A+B, so really helpful to see the opposite! Thanks, now it's working fine!

Haha glad it worked out. A+B works when you have the long aux to aux looking cable connected to each base station. I never find myself using it. 

Have fun and watch out for them headcrabs!

B+C are for optical sync when you're not using the sync cable

A+B is when you're using a physical sync cable

You can use 1 station in channel A for single station mode if need be - you'll only get ~180 degree tracking though (especially on the controllers).
