SteamVR not detecting Vive, grey screen to black.

Vive headset will not show anything and stuck on red light. All drivers up to date. Display VR view will show for a second and then goes grey to black every time restarting the headset. Light will be green when Steam is opened but goes to red when SteamVR is opened. it stays red. Have another Vive headset that works fine with same base stations, controllers and pc. This one will not get detected or stay detected. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
