Leon243 Posted July 21, 2020 Share Posted July 21, 2020 (edited) I bought a new PC and i can't get Vive to work. In SteamVR i get a 208 error and in the Vive setup tool it can't detect the HMD throught the HDMI. I've tried countless restarts, un-plug/plug of the cables but the issue persists. Although by-passing the link box with HDMI directly into the HMD works. Also I've tried plugging the HDMI into my laptop with the link box and it also works. Checked my drivers and everything is up-to-date. Both PC and laptop are running Windows 10 and both have Nvidia GPUs. Any help is appreciated.
