After waiting a month we have heard no meaningful updates. I was lucky that gamestop was willing to work with me and returned my unit. Got the new PS4 Pro 1tb and Red Dead Redemption 2. Probably be the last product I ever purchase from HTC.

I of course bought from gamestop after HTC "accidentally" canceled my preorder, as far as I know Gamestop has a 7 day return policy meaning Im screwed.

I've been in gaming mode for months as a few games I used to play constantly BSOD'ed unless I was. I can use the Wireless adapter as long as I dont access my games from the HMD and execute via steam. ITs just not a great way to play.

Any progress updates HTC? ETA?

Sadly thats not an option Glue for some purchases. Gamestop has a 7 day return policy and once its opened you are basically **bleep**ed.

My Mobo has 4 full pci E slots that are Gen 3 and then 2 small slots that only the wigig can fit in that I believe are gen 2. With the full PCI E slots when the wigig is plugged in the vive wireless cant recognize the card even though the lights blue on the card. I tried all the slots. My bios has them set to auto by default. I tried setting them to 4x and the PC wont boot. Tried setting to force gen 3 PC wont boot. Under auto it boots fine. Threw the card back in the small slot, left on auto and launched games direct from steam avoiding the steam overlay and it worked fine for the 30 minutes I played last night. Fine tracking, Fine graphics, just a pain in the ass to have to take the headset off to swap games. I'll try and get a longer game run in today. Im just shocked that this made it through QA. Its been a week it would be nice to get an update as well. Some of us are going to start having issues returning the item, actually come to think of it think Gamestop only offers 7 days in which case I'd have to take it up with HTC at this point. Had really hoped this was going to be an easy fix and we wouldnt see 2 weekends back to back with a non-functioning $300 accessory.

My MSIC X399 gaming pro carbon mobo will let me assign but tweaking anything in there seems to keep it from posting. I also dont have the option for 1x only 4, 8, 16 depending on the slots. Tried setting all to 4x with the exception of the GPU and it wont post so thinking thats not the solution.

So we're halfway through the weekend now has the HTC reached out to anyone as mentioned? Anyone heard a progress update?

Also rather odd that the system requirements say it supports AMD cpus. If Ryzen was a known incompatibility on purpose it **bleep** well should have been in the requirements. Going to be an absolute nightmare if they cant fix this.

Just adding my setup to the list. Ryzen 1950x 32 gigs of ram in the small PCI slot and had the performance monitoring turned off in steam. Mother board is MSIx399 gaming pro carbon crashed with watchdog error about 2 minutes into it.
