  1. I have a RTX 2080, i5 8600k, 32 GB ram, so I think I fall on the end of high gaming, I'm actually going to just return the cosmos and get a Index, the value for dollar just isn't here, and I doubt HTC has any intention on budging on its prices.
  2. My problem with that is new users getting into VR: Cosmos: 935.00 CAD Faceplate: 350.00 CAD Base stations: 2x 190.00 CAD = 380.00 CAD Knuckle controllers: (Cause the cosmos ones won't work with base tracking, and god no vive wands) 420.00 CAD Seriously? thats 2085.00 CAD , for everything, and thats NOT getting me a high end VR setup, where I can get the Index for 1400.00, and that comes with everything, even the Vive pro kit for 1399.00 CAD isn't worth it, you guys are not making this VR experience consumer friendly, its still overpriced like when the vive pro came out. I might have to refuse my delivery of my cosmos when it comes this week and have it returned.
  3. yeah the updates not getting good press, also seems like you guys weren't telling the truth about the tracking update
  4. So I was thinking,, if cosmos cleans up its act and fixes all its tracking issues its definitely a contender against Index, except for one glaring issue, The knuckle controllers with its finger tracking is amazing, you guys should come out with your own version of the knuckles since cosmos has replaced the original Vive,, you need something like this to entice people who are interested in base free tracking but really want to have full finger support with their controllers, I mean you already basically copied the design of the Oculus controllers, just do the same with the Knuckles, make them bigger if need be, you could probably even improve the tracking. @C.T. @stvnxu
  5. Even with the new headset? I think you guys should make sure it prompts NEW users with that message,, because If a headset bricks during first update its going to reflect extremely poorly on you guys, which is something you really can't afford to do in this stage of the game, especially so close to christmas.
  6. If someone is just getting their cosmos new for the first time update do they have to follow any of these steps or just update normally?
