  1. Yes and immediately. Look at this from a german youtuber I talked to : got his vive pro 2 repaired for both the audio buzz and scanlines issue. Crazy to know that I also returned the headset for the same issue and they didn't repair. I'm sending it for the second time, if they don't do anything for a second time I'll make sure a lot of people will be aware of the service. I think my job here is partly done. Thanks to you New VR Tech. Atleast now it's more clear. The repair team is broken, for that you would need to push things hard with htc to get things done properly.
  2. But I'm happy they fixed it for you. I'm jyst wondering why mine hasn't been. Really curious to see how you managed to explain them the issue because i tried hard to do it.
  3. So they just didnt repair my headset....
  4. I hope very soon, can't wait !! I will finaly know if I should rma the headset again, because yes I returned the headset but had it back with no issues found, I would be super mad if I have confirmation that it's an issue only on some headsets
  5. I still look at the forum and the fact that more and more people are showing off the issue and you remain silent about it is really abnormal.
  6. that's superb, you can't say anything about the scanline on his unit ? Like you didn't see them or didn't take the time to notice ?
  7. Unfortunately I have no choice but to have this headset far away from me. I'm done having to explain my self to the technical team, telling that I've already sent the headset and nothing has been done, that we don't have any contacts with the engineers, that we can't have any information regarding the panel issues with the vertical lines that we have. No repairs and no contacts, lack of professionalism and seriousness. I used to really be a fan of HTC but it the end It's not a consumer-friendly company.
  8. It's not serious and they don't care about you and any of us. I asked for a refund.
  9. What's worse is for my end I didn't get any information when I got the headset back, I had to ask my reseller to ask htc to know what happened... lol - they said no issues found, but that's the only thing they said.... Nothing about what they did atleast taking contact with me through mail nothing... The customer service is just bad. It seems like they only care when It's a youtuber/influencer or company problem but for public consumers we're just money-giving meat.
  10. I knew they would sent your unit back as it happened to so many others but they really also had the audacity not to give your unit back properly.......? I'm really near suing this company.
  11. @new VR tech I'm excited and at the same time relieved that youtubers are talking about it finally. Did you try out the MRTV unit tho? I asked him on one of his livestream and apparently he doesn't see the vertical lines, you could give it a try when you guys meet back. It could be really helping to know if it's per unit issue or all headsets has them in general and it's so minimal that it doesn't bother everyone. I'd love to see you guys meet again !!! Can't wait !
  12. I'm really curious to see how it goes for you, but as I saw two cases before me with the exact same issue without any repair I'm very skeptical..
  13. Here is a video quickly pointing it out, that the display is amazing but has vertical scan lines. I did some more research and it's most likely that only people with super good vision are able to see them, I'm one of them. The same issue were present on my old valve index but the valve team quickly released a fix with column correction and they told us not to worry as they are working on it at time, vive didn't.
  14. English is not my native language. In a nutshell my headset has slight vertical scan lines with head movement (looks like sde but only when you're moving which really ruins the picture quality) I sent it back and they did not do anything and sent back the headset to me. I explained my issue in details to the support team before returning and they strictly told me to return it. I'm not the only one with the issue and all the topics pointing out this panel issue is being ignored. I can't really do a better explanation.
  15. The vertical lines is not the problem, customer and technical services are unfortunately, I'm sorry you are on the same boat.
  16. It's a little fishy right now.. You guys told us to shut our mouths, return the headset and contact the technical support team to deal with it but really you both let us in the dark and don't care. -There is vertical scanlines which is most likely pixel inversion (it looks the same on a non calibrated index headset) it seems like you guys doesn't seem to know what it is or don't have the experience to deal with... Weird because you've made an incredible headset not so long ago so what's going now ? Ignoring symptoms on our headsets will only get us angry and other potential customers who does some research before buying restraining themselves from buying it. All we want is an answer "WILL THIS EVER BE FIXED OR NOT?" I already contacted support team and it's the same as the forum, some said it's not normal you should send it back, I did but got back the headset I lost 70 euros sending the headset for nothing.... Atleast if you guys cared enough you would have told me that it's useless to send it back ? We are working on a fix ? All headset has it ? I don't even get why I didn't have the chance to get a replacement even tho I sent it back only 3 weeks after, seems like they look inside the headset say "ow it's lit, good, send it back to this silly customer" I've never seen so much ignorance from a company in my entire life, it's really unfortunate. The worst of all is that it's not the only issue I have from this headset, it's only the biggest problem. -Audio which gets a tone pitch down when I start the headset -The buzz on audio idle (I told them about it when returned the headset also) -Weird sound artifacts at some point -Huge frozen picture when you get back to steamvr home or get into another game -Gpu goes panic attack at 100% randomly -turning on the headset sometimes would lead to a "every 2 sec freeze of the whole computer even with a i9" >I have two computers to spare the "it might be your computer lol" -The first which is obviously my main computer with a 3080 Ti , 32 gb of ram and i9 10900k -The second my bedroom computer with a 2070 i5 4590 and 32 gb of ram Tried on both, same issues on both (all listed) I don't care about the vertical lines, I care about customer service and care. I don't feel like we are getting what we deserve and that's why I'm angry. It's an expensive headset so being angry is the least we can do. If I were able to get a refund I would. Cheers.
  17. Do you still have those even after replacing the headset ???
  18. Really interesting.. So have they refused to repair your old headset ? Is that why you asked for a refund ? I'm just astonished by the fact that you bought another headset and the problem is gone now, you are the proof that it's indeed a problem for some headset only. If you guys experience the same thing you should probably return the headset too.
  19. So finally a feedback from my reseller telling me that htc has sent back my unit with the label : "Repaired". Should I be relieved ? Well no idea because it's the only thing they said, it's "repaired"... and the reseller doesn't have any more information about it. I wrote both issues I had before sending it back, vertical lines with head movement which is worse on the left panel + audio buzz I asked for an intervention plan of my headset and I'm still waiting for my reseller to contact them. So why am I skeptical about the repair ? Well, for the simple fact that on the forums and everywhere else they are very silent about the issue and did not include atleast some sort of list of fixes done to my headset, like nothing just repaired..... which is odd imo. It's probable that they only fixed one thing like the audio or the panel or none of them which could be very funny actually, someone else on the forum has said that they returned and had it back with "no faulty hardware" "no repair needed" label... I would be furious in this situation, if I get my headset which probably in a week or two I'll see with my own eyes and I'm gonna tell all of you what happened for me if they actually did fix the headset. Here something really interesting someone said from my last post : He has the very proof that it is indeed a hardware issue present only in some of their batch so I pretty much got a defective unit and they repaired it instead of replacing the whole headset which would be better as I bought it just 3 weeks before sending it back but I digress I hope to have atleast some resemblance of positivity towards HTC.
  20. not yet, It takes time, my headset isn't even arrived at the reseller.
