  1. I'm liking the direction instant mode is going. I would like to have some more control over the play space shape and size, not for every time I recenter just have the option to change what space I have when I do recenter. I'd personally like to see a resizable square, rectangle or circle. Unrelated things I'd like to see in future updates- - Night mode for passthrough to see IR light a lot if users have for night time use -Bluetooth audio receiver for phone audio playback -Connections replaces tutorial in "More" tab -Wireless file transfer for screenshots/save data etc. would be great to manage from the vive app when connected to the device -No more intrusive alerts for battery/volume warnings. having to press ok to those alerts always causes grief for me -Full locomotion in the home environment -More/customizable environments
  2. This and the audio volume warning are too intrusive, an alert is O.K but it's too much to require acknowledgment input. I was on my way to set a leaderboard record last night and the volume warning needed to be O.K.d while I was using index controllers so that was a mess and it got me killed by a hotdog 😔
  3. Finally got the prompt to update on start-up today.
  4. I'm currently on 1.0.999.248 and it's showing "system up to date" when I go check for a system update.
  5. I don't have Pihole or anything like that on my network and I still have this issue with the VIVE browser. The workaround I've been using is clicking on the browser painting on the wall in the home environment, it's a painting of a planet to your right when you first load in, next to the Viveport Painting. I've noticed if I join a new network I can use the icon in the library to start the browser but once I exit, the icon goes back to saying "update".
  6. Same set up here, got my XRE a few days ago, it is not compatible with the vive wireless module, it uses a different launcher and connects via wifi. Best streaming result require a wifi 6 (802.11ax) network, a PC capable of its' own wifi connection to another non router device and a wired connection from the PC to the wifi 6 router the XRE is connected to. I have been playing on an all wireless wifi 5 (802.11ac) 5Ghz network and have been getting mixed results.
  7. 10000% a huge issue for me as well and I have a very normal sized noggin. Would you be so kind as to share this .STL? Printables has 0 prints for the XRE and this would be an excellent option to have available. Really nice job!
