Because I've noticed even when closing "Vive console, Viveport, Steam VR" the light remains turned on, on the side of my headset, base stations are off and such... but you can still hear the fan inside and a small hum... I don't want too have to completely keep unplugging the cable every time I'm not using it, it's a waste of bloody power, and I'm sure not great on the lengethity of the headset...
