Can i close the battery of the VIVE XR controller ?

Can i close the battery of the VIVE XR controller ?
I always found the XR controlller in low battery......

The XR controller is still working and use battery?

( when i did not use the VR headset )

It make me very trouble, when i need to use the VR headset suddenly.
( because i need to charge the controller before i use it )

You need to completely power off the controllers by pressing and holding the Vive and menu buttons until the controllers vibrate once.

Then they are off and your controller batteries will last much longer.

I had similar issues until I started turning the controllers off as suggested above.  It would make sense to have the controllers turn themselves off after a certain time of inactivity rather than run out of battery power.
