VIVE Business Streaming - 1.11.8b

  • Added support for Mixed Reality (MR mode) with passthrough (Experimental).
  • Enhanced Bitrate settings to prevent pixelated images.
  • Improved Dynamic Bitrate to prevent sudden bitrate drops.
  • Implemented server stability improvements to handle unexpected Windows file access exceptions.
  • Fixed a potential server crash when client disconnected.
  • Fixed potential texture inconsistencies caused by incorrect headset projection when the headset was changed or after an update.
  • Fixed a potential issue that could cause incorrect Console setting values.
  • Fixed a random issue to cause the VIVE Business Streaming Console to freeze at launch.
  • Prevents Check for updates from being clicked multiple times.
  • Refined Graphics Auto mode and now supports new GPUs.
  • Resolved the issue where Console Settings could not be opened due to a missing Windows Startup folder.
  • Resolved the problem where SteamVR Dashboard could not be opened on some PCs.
  • [OpenXR] Fixed eye gaze data that could be incorrect or not received.
  • [OpenXR] Fixed a crash issue in UE editor mode.
  • [OpenXR] Fixed an issue where OpenXR content was being blocked by anti-cheat software.
  • [OpenXR] Reduced size by removing unnecessary libraries.

VIVE Business Streaming app - 1.0.17.13 (Please connect Focus 3 to PC via USB to update)

  • Added support for Mixed Reality (MR) with passthrough (Experimental).
  • Added support for left hand reverse pinch to open Steam Dashboard.
  • Fixed potential black screen issue during reconnecting.
  • Fixed memory leak issue due to reconnection.
  • Fixed an issue that causes users to get stuck at 75 FPS in content with VIVE XR Elite.
  • Improved prediction accuracy.
  • Now supports In-VR streaming settings by double-clicking the menu button on the left controller.
  • Now supports hand fist gesture mapped to the controller grip bindings.
  • Resolved a potential issue that could introduce extra controller latency in USB streaming.

Hi C.T., Thanks for the patch notes! Very interested to learn more about passtrough options through VBS; Where can I find more about how to use that? And it mentions Mixed Reality with passthrough; I would love to have the ability to 'trigger passthrough' in our Focus 3 headsets while players are still preparing (letting them see our attendant while they equip gear for example), would this be possible or is it only while using Mixed Reality with the Elite XR headset?
