yijing Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) Hi, I'm developing with Unity for XR Elite and I'm wondering which SDK can be used for hand gesture recognition. I've already tried the ViveHandTracking SDK 1.0.0 provided by Vive Sense, but without success. I'm not sure if it's a compatibility issue with the version. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help answer my question. Edited August 12, 2023 by yijing
VIVE_chengnay Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Hi @yijing, I saw you have been posting several posts in different topics. For XR Elite, please use https://hub.vive.com/storage/docs/en-us/UnityXR/UnityXRSdk.html. Feel free to ask questions if you have any. 1
Miasm1 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 For hand gesture recognition in Unity for XR Elite, consider the Unity ML-Agents Toolkit's "Hand Tracking" feature or explore the "MRTK - Mixed Reality Toolkit" which offers compatibility and active community support. Troubleshoot compatibility issues by checking Unity versions and referring to SDK documentation. Best of luck with your project!
hiradjackson Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 The choice of SDK significantly impacts the development workflow, performance, and features of the final XR experience. A well-suited SDK can enhance productivity, optimize performance, and enable access to advanced functionalities.
