Cliff
Hi there! I have a question if I can share the image from my VR headsets to a remote computer. For example, so that during the game everything that happens is visible on the screen of a computer that is located at a distance. How can I do this and is it possible? Andie
Hi. That's an interesting question. I haven't personally tried this, but I think you can utilize an application that enables access to USB devices over a network. Connect your headsets to your computer via USB, and when you log into your account, you should see a list of locally shared devices over the network, as well as a list of all available remote devices for connection. You can find step-by-step instructions here https://www.flexihub.com/usb-over-network/ If you get a chance, please do let me know if it works out for you. I'm quite interested! williems739
When I visited Google HQ for the Science Foo Camp in 2016, they let me play with their VR “paintbrush” that draws, sprays, paints etc. in 3D space: you can sweep out a complex curve and then walk around it and view it from all directions, add another curve, make letters that float in space, and amuse yourself in a creative & artistic fashion. I want one, but I think it went for something like $1K at the time. It would make a great new art form, especially if interfaced to a 3D printer that could make an actual hard copy of what you “drew”.
VIVE_chengnay
Hi @williems739, I think you are talking about Open Brush, previously called Tilt Brush. It is open source and in our XR Elite, we did include it in Library.
