Vive Pro 2 multiuser environment - Which games to play?

Hello!

I know that with the Vive Pro 2 and its wireless adapter we can set up a multiuser vr environment, up to 9 people in the same room: https://www.vive.com/hk/support/wireless-adapter/category_howto/setting-up-a-wireless-multiuser-vr-environment.html

What are the use cases? If we all play together the same game, does the communication between the players have to go through the internet or do we have some sort of local connection? If there is no local connection, is there any difference with just playing online (apart from the fact that people are in the same room) ?
