SBEteamVis Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 Hi we bought an wifi 6e router. but the xr isnt managing so well. while the wifi power is marked as extreme. the result on the vive streaming hub says other whys; see attachements. i was wondering why the connecting with the wifi is so wonky, while its just sitting next to me. pc in front and wifi to the left. we currently running vive streaming hub 1.4.7 also ran it with 1.3.6 both bad results. xr running 1.0.999.508 running steam vr 2.2.3 router running 2.4ghz 5ghz on a different ssid then the 6ghz ssid Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SBEteamVis Posted January 4 Author Share Posted January 4 while the headset is on (connected with 6ghz); the screen goes often to black and the vive logo is loading. sometimes even tells lost connection and sort. randomly its working fine but still no great experience, delay/laggy. while we do the same test with 2.4/5ghz its a way beter experience with no black screen with vive logo or losing connection. but still no optimal experience. Also may need you to share your PC Spec for reference. Thanks I have the same problem, and I am running pure Wifi 6E mode 80Hz only with NetGear RAXE500. Even when connected to one XR Elite, the streaming would stutter at 100Mbps bitrate with constantly loading and buffering whereas It's totally fine with even 200Mbps on Focus 3.
