avx
I ordered the Vive Pro but I did not realise that it was without any required bases. Why is there no information what I need to make it work? I had the impression that it was just without the controllers that I don't need anyway. For someone like me that currently has Oculus and wants a Vive Pro for the better resolution you are making it way harder than it should be. Rockjaw
The Vive Pro product page does state "VIVE Pro HMD does not include controllers, base stations or VIVE wireless adapter." If you clicked the pre-order button without looking at this page, it's possible you missed it; if so, apologies.
avx
I have never used a vive before and didn‘t know what a base is. It sounded like some part of the optional wireless kit.
HackPerception
, The Vive uses a laser-based system for it's positional tracking. The lasers are emitted out of little black cubes called basestations. The Vive Pro is compatible with the first generation of basestations as well as the upcoming 2.0 revision of the basestations.
