TomTomTugger Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 So I got the Vive wireless yesterday, plugged it in, installed the software, all was great, it just worked. Only played for a little while since the battery doesn't come with much juice. Today I have a go with a nicely charged battery and the thing will not pair. The light is on the battery, the green light on the transmitter is flashing green and the wireless software just says "Can't find any headset". I've tried clicking the pair button again and it doesn't find anything. I've tried the usual reboot, and replugging in all the cables, everything feels fine, there's direct line of sight. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, tried a different PCI Express slot. I'm stumped. Has anyone else had the same problem? (Windows 10, GTX1080)
TomTomTugger Posted October 9, 2018 Author Posted October 9, 2018 I'm an idiot. To make it repair you have to press the button on the antenna while it's flashing. Why it went wrong in the first place I don't know, but that's fixed it.
Strahan Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Don't feel bad; it's not just you. I got to this thread by Googling because I did the exact same thing :) Thanks for clearing it up.
CodeMonkey Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Ugh. Same. I pressed the button to make it blink quickly! Who'd have thunk I'd have to press it again?!
