Toshiden
Bought a alienware17r5 heard about the kick butt wireless adapter only to find out that it doesn’t work with a laptop... started to cry hahah can I hook the wireless adapter to a graphics amplifier or thunderbolt connector? If not will they ever come out with a option to connect it to a laptop? I heard good and bad about the TPCAST but I rather go with the home team model HTC if you know what’s i mean. Does anyone have any suggestions or info to share? Thanks
HackPerception
, the adapter is unfortunately only approved for desktops only at this time. We're not endorsing any external enclosure for it as there are several technical challenges which make it pretty much incompatible across the board with existing setups. If this ever changes, we'll certainly alert the community.
razoredge
Are there plans to create a more portable solution that does not require PCIE slots? Also, is there a best practices guide on configuring a wireless network for maximum performance with the adapter?
HackPerception
, The current wireless product is a desktop only product - I have no additional news to share about future wireless products or solutions at this time.
