SteveCole
Hi, I have a dual boot system where I use Windows 10 Pro 64bit for most of my games and VR, and a Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit for some games that have compatibility issues with Windows 10. I'm also using Windows 8.1 to experiment and test Vive Pro with various other games and software such as Vorpx and Tridef VR 3D and I play some desktop games in VR 3D on this OS. There's currently no way of installing Vive Wireless software on Win 8.1 as it shows a message that compatible OS is only Win 10 or 7. Is there any ETA of adding 8.1 support, or any way of making it work? Thanks.
SteveCole
I know very few people are using Windows 8.1. A reviewer on Amazon was able to install it through Windows 7 compatibility mode. Any response or workaround from HTC is highly appreciated. Anyone?
ak
it doesn't work with Windows 7 due to a bug in iWiGig driver. No one can run it under Windows 7 yet.
