zeioIIDX Posted November 29, 2016 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Edit: I fixed my issue by uninstalling SteamVR and installing it again. Just got my Vive last night. For whatever reason, my games work just fine but my controllers refuse to bring up the Steam overlay. After starting SteamVR, the moment I turn both controllers on, an error pops up on my computer monitor that says "VR dashboard has stopped working" . It continues to pop up the moment I press Ok/Exit. I'm running on Windows 7 64-bit and I have a GTX 770 (which runs everthing just fine in VR for me).
