YeshiYeshi78 Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Hi y'all, Can you access the raw data from the sensors to measure the eye-movements for any content (or is it only possible in a game where you pre-coded to extract eye data from the sensor)? E.g., Can I open any app like youtube or netflix and extract the eye movements arising from it where eye tracking is not coded in the app per say? (PS: My context here is that I wanted to track the eye movements for few interesting games and movies from the store) @Corvus @Daniel_Y @Jad
PTrottier Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Hi, My impression is that you could use write software in C using the provided SDK, then run the desired experience. You would likely need a method to sync the two but otherwise, this sounds doable. Cheers, PTrottier
HackPerception Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 @YeshiYeshi78 @PTrottier - Please see my response below. In short - there are two compatible SDKs you can use. Our SDK cannot give you raw data but Tobii's can. Our SDK can provide more anonymous feature data such as gaze location and provides features such as foveated rendering.
