imarin18
Dear HTC team, I'm writing to ask you about the specification of HTC VIVE Pro Eye. The field of view is 110 degrees according to your information. Is 110 degrees for both vertical and horizontal or diagonal? Thank you very much for the information you could provide. Best regards, imarin18
Tony PH Lin
Hi @imarin18, After internal checking, here is the feedback for your inquiry. The 110 degrees FOV is the maximum field of view you can see through the lens at specified eye-relief in our optical simulation. The actual vertical/horizontal/diagonal FOV depends on manufacturing deviation and calibration result. It should be close to 110 degrees on vertical and 106 degrees on horizontal. Thanks. Jerry Pai
Dear HTC team, I am using a HTC Vive Pro now, and I would like to ask for the specification of it. According to your information, Pro and Pro eye both have same resolution at 1440x1600 and FOV at 110 degrees. In this case, does HTC Vive Pro also has a vertical FOV close to 110 degrees and horizontal FOV close to 106 degrees? Thank you very much for the information you could provide. Best regards, Jerry Pai.
VIVE_chengnay
Hi @Jerry Pai, I will check internally if there is any official measurement. But, I found this website online, hope it helps. https://risa2000.github.io/hmdgdb/
Jerry Pai
Dear @VIVE_chengnay. I had checked that website before, but since I believe it uses an unofficial measurement method, I decided not to use it for now and instead seek help here. I will first try the measurement method provided here. Thank you. If there are any results after the internal check, I would appreciate it if you could notify me. I would be very grateful. Thank you for information, @VIVE_chengnay. It gives a lot of help. Best Regards, Jerry Pai
