adriang
Hello all, Just wondering if anyone have any expeience with users with contact lens or prescription glasses, do they affect the accuracy of the eye tracking results in HTC Vive Pro Eye? Somehow, the offical website seems to say that eye surgery, eye disease, heavy makeup, and high myopia may lead to problem with the tracking accuracy. Thanks. Corvus
@adriang I often wear glasses when testing/developing with pro eye and have not noticed any difference in eye tracking quality. Mainly I would avoid using split bifocal style glasses with eye tracking but otherwise haven't seen any issues reported.
deanjennyjohn
Both contact lenses and prescription glasses can affect eye tracking results to some extent. Contact lenses sit directly on the eye, altering its shape slightly, which might affect the accuracy of eye tracking measurements. Similarly, prescription glasses can introduce reflections or distortions that interfere with precise tracking. However, modern eye tracking systems are often designed to account for these factors and can still provide reliable data with proper calibration and adjustment.
