Monika Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Hello everyone! I've bought my HTC Vive Cosmos Elite 1 month ago and there was a problem with regulation of lens distance from the very beginning and it's been getting only worse (couldn't reach more than 70 mm and regulation board was appearing during the game). I decided to send it to the HTC Vive service in Romania. They repaired it under the warranty and sent back, I received it yesterday. The regulation knob was replaced but the headset doesn't work. Error 005 shows up, we tried to unplug every cable, plug in again and nothing changed. Also, the plastic part of the headset cover is broken (and it wasn't before) and many screws are stripped! They also didn't even repaced the shielding tape on the front part of the headset wasn't replaced. This repair was really bad job and to be honest, I don't want to send it again to the same service in Romania, because I know that is going to be a never ending story! Also, I did some research and after I read user's opinion about their horrible experiences with the service I'm frightened. I don't know what's the reason the headset doesn't work and I suppose 'specialists' in the service will send it back to me without solving anything after couple of weeks, in even worse condition it was before. What can I do? Please help! 1
