 1.     Vive Reality System 2.0

• Updated device setup assets and UI
• Added Voice Over (English) for device setup
• Added file browser to preview screenshots and video recordings
• Added option to enable hand tracking under connectivity tab for content creation purpose *see notes for detail instruction
• Added support for Bluetooth keyboard pairing

 3.     Introduced Vive Business Streaming – wired

• VIVE Business Streaming software is required on your computer, download it from https://dl.vive.com/vbspc

  • Support multiple play spaces, may require redo room setup after FOTA

• Added privacy protection for sensitive information and passthrough images while doing screen recording and casting
• Added video recording limitation to up to 2 hours and also pause video recording if free storage size is less than 1.5GB
• Added Chinese Pinyin and Zhuyin input methods
• Added hand interaction support for content development
• Enabled recovery mechanism to enhance system stability

 Notes for content developers

• How to enable hand tracking?

1. In “Connectivity” page of VRS 2.0 setting, switch “Enable Hand Tracking” to ON,
2. Manually restart the device is a must
3. Launch hand tracking supported content , put aside the controllers on a stable surface. hand will show up after put hand in front of camera.

• Vive Wave SDK 4.1.0 will be available on 6/28 at https://developer.vive.com/resources/vive-wave/sdk/
• Vive Wave SDK 4.1.0 supports limited access on camera texture API (need to contact HTC for how to enable)
