    @Sjunin I would recommend working that out via the support ticket I started for you - that's the most direct line to Viveport's in-house customer care team who can escalate back up to the platform owners if there is a widely reproducible problem.

    As vibrant has done, use the support ticket that he's opened, be aware with covid19 and different departments it could take a couple days for a response 🙂 oh and it's a weekend.

    IN the meantime try these instructions;

    Login to paypal:

    1. Once you've logged in look at the address bar
    2. At the top in the address bar where it says {paypal.com/myaccount/summary} goto {paypal.com/myaccount/security}
    3. then select {Permissions you've given} select {Update}
    4. then select {Manage} on the associated
    5. Then cancel and whatever you need todo

    This is just the paypal side, you'll more than likely still need to use that support ticket and get {HTC} to remove you there end also 🙂

    @VibrantNebula is a great person, so bare with the ticket he's done.

    You took your time to show your maturity and be dishonest lol lol lol..Viveport has almost Zero refund policy 🙂  I have all the emails for such an occasion like this, but i think I will let you start and argument with yourself, not me, bc this is no kids here son 😂😂.  I would love to pull them out to show you there so called no refund policy, but that would mean I actually entertained this conversation lol lol...I only got a refund bc I went over everyone's head and they got paranoid, bc the game never started.  You can read all the innuendo YOU LIKE TO PROVE NO POINT.  FACT, STEAM HAS REFUND POLICY, VIVEPORT DOESN'T.  I HAVE THE EMAILS TO SHOW, BUT AGAIN THAT WOULD MEAN I ENTERTAINED THIS.  THE ONLY REASON I REPLIED WAS TO SHOW THE PEOPLE THAT VIVE WILL ALMOST NEVER REFUND YOU.  STEAM WILL ALWAYS REFUND WHETHER THERE IS ISSUES OR NOT, WHICH IS KIND OF COOL.  ITS WRITTEN ALL OVER 🙂  LAWSUIT, YEA, TELL ME ANOTHER.  YOU MUST BE THERE LAWYER ALSO I TAKE IT 🙂  With your  gamertag I highly doubt your education and age is up there!  FACT VIVEPORT HAS BAD SUPPORT THAT TAKES 3 WEEKS JUST TO GET A REPLY:)  FACT THEY DONT LIKE TO REFUND.  FACT, THEY DONT HAVE ANY SUPPORT SYSTEM.  ONLY KIDS (on chat) THAT DONT HAVE MUCH Technical SKILLS 🙂  AGAIN, I KEPT ALL THAT PROF FOR A RAINY DAY.  LAST FACT, I CAN GUARANTEE YOUR LESS THEn 20 YEARS OLD WITH THAT atrocious REPLY:)  NOW I AM OUT..I KNOW YOU GET THAT TALK.  HOPEFULLY THAT TALK WAS AT YOUR LEVEL.  i DONT WANT TO CONFUSE YOU WITH any INTELLIGENCE SANITYGAMER:)

    PS.  Oh lets not forget chat telling me that my 4500 gamer (Alien-ware Area 51, built strictly for VR might be the issue.  I saved that reply from chat.  After I forwarded screenshots to higher ups for prof  I was refunded in less then 6 hours 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂..STEAM ALL THE WAY💪💪💪💪

    Viveport has a refund policy for "Australia, Canada, UK" and any member of the EU, you are obviously American' Pretty bloody obvious with your arrogance..  "God bless the queen" 🙂 God bless the "Digital Consumer Rights Act". "God Bless the EU Digital Refund Laws".

    I'd love to pull out every link on Vive's website where they say we offer refunds and post the fill out form, because it took me like 5 seconds to type into google    "Viveport Refund"...  I had an -{America & UK & EU}- Refund form pop up...

    Also I'm not reading all your stuff if you can't even learn paragraphs and shove faces everywhere, typing child, and all those capitals, yep... typical child... Have fun child.

    Also you cried about a response, me and the administrator responded the same day you posted... This is a REAL FORUM, for REAL people, not a website like steam where there's trolls, spam accounts, CSGO bots, game BOTS and more....

    I messaged HTC a couple days ago, got a response within 24hours!  HTC has different support teams for different countries,  "USA and UK and EU, and CANADA".... if you are to ignorant to realise this, then once again "CHILD" your ignorance is showing!

    Also ignorant CHILD if you google the "Australia court" you can actually get public records of the legal case, but as a child I wouldn't think you'd know that most courts issue out court letters... I'm also qualified as a lawyer with an "LLM in Information Technology"..  Sorry child.... anyway, trolls elsewhere, the fact you even made that comment above with all those faces and spam, is pathetic.

    Also have fun with your cruddy PC, this is the only PC picture I'll post of mine, those are triple 32inch 2560x1440 IPS monitors.. with a quad 2080TI setup, I am currently supporting the NHS and Medical research by doing "Bionics" by running "boinc" on my PC 24/7

    Also you said you would be going, yet you came back, you're obviously a child one of those that say "I wont buy this game, or I'm leaving these forums".. it continues to stay and response to responses! what's your excuse... I'm sure you'll return because I've triggered you into now responding, and you'll say. I want to response because I can because i'm not triggerd, please mr doing this for enjoyment, return to the forums again... By the way,  keep trolling these forums and if you own a HTC vrheadset, well have fun with that warranty down the line when your HTC account is banned.
    e.t.c

    p.s

    Unlike you, I'm a real adult, I won't be responding to future comments from you, because you're obviously one of those failures like those IRL,  plenty of open beach thons of space but go near someone else, like those people in a restaurant.. or those past-time brexit voters who didn't know what they were voting for then started rioting to REMAIN

    This forum is pretty dead and that’s sad. I posted this I don’t know how long ago. As much as I appreciate the reply I have moved on. I made my first and last mistake buying from VIVEPORT. There a joke. It took arguing and begging to get refunded my hard earned money. I WILL ALWAYS BUY FROM STEAM. Their return policy is so easy and painless.  Steam blows the doors and will always blow Viveport away. God Bless and good ridence to them 🙏🏾

    Bye, steams refund policy is far worse... enjoy that 2hour play time, viveport is 14days 🙂 - 30 days (region dependent)

    Steam only has a refund policy because of a class action lawsuit against them by AUSTRALIA, and STEAM were forced to payout.

    Now they are getting sued by france.

    Can someone tell u how to request a refund for a game we purchased and couldn't play at all, or start for the matter?  We tried for les then 10 min an gave up..  It was a downloaded game.

    Depends on your country..

    https://service.viveport.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007009052-How-do-I-apply-for-a-refund-for-content-purchases-

    Except as expressly set forth in HTC’s(or its Third - Party Payment Provider’s) refund policy, all purchases on the Store are final and no returns, replacements, or refunds are permitted nor shall purchases be transferable or redeemable in whole or in part

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Now If you live in the UK or a country that has it in there laws and gives you the legal rights for a refund, then you can get a REFUND and demand it..  -{ are you in the EU}- or UK, or CANADA..... Or crappy america

    IF they still refuse, do a chargeback.. Let your bank deal with this situation, if you deal with it directly and HTC refuse, you could be looking at courts or out of pocket...

    This is why I use paypal.... No company will directly tell paypal that they are breaking laws or they'll be banned from paypals services.

    @SanityGaming - There may be some movement on this front - we'll keep trying to get stock to them but it's an extremely complex situation and they're the decision makers in this situation.  https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-13/amazon-move-to-stock-more-non-essentials-isn-t-business-as-usual?srnd=technology-vp

    Ha you got to me before I did with you, I just logged into the site today (Was supposed to yesterday) after seeing the articles on the internet! I was going to ask if "HTC" had any plans to stock the "COSMOS ELITE" on amazon!

    Now this is how support and real customer service is handled..
    You sir, are a blasted saint 10/10!  I've never seen such great administration! And friendliness and responsiveness!

    If you can find out when "IF" HTC will sell it on "AMAZON.CO.UK" that would be great, I'm so wanting to buy one! I mean HTC can have my full money!

    Alienware M15 Gaming Laptop

    Image of the recommended laptop for HTC Vive virtual reality system. This machine meets or exceeds these requirements with a 15.6" LCD, 16GB RAM, 512 GB PCIe M.2 SSD storage, NVIDIA GEForce RTX 2060 graphics card with 6GB.

    If you want to get scammed and advertise a scam product like alienware, go to a troll website... like reddit., Alienware is just a sham and advertising for the ignorant.. it's like trying to compare 2 silver spoons, ones 100£ the others 50£ both do the same thing, just ones cheaper... alienware is the 100$...

    MSI, Gigabyte, e.t.c Will give you more performance for the money.. and more stuff.. better to.

    I asked Alienware to do a price match with a PC, they knocked around 780£ of the alienware PC... Not only does alienware use OEM computer parts like (gpu, motherboard, cpu) but they use the cheapest off the line made parts..  most of it's unbranded and just bad...

    @SanityGaming I was able to confirm that while were planning Amazon distribution and had made arrangements. Amazon is not able to accept any potential shipments of Elite stock currently as it does not meet their definition of "essential items" under their current COVID-19 operations plan. You should be able to purchase from the following UK retailers: Scan, Ebuyer, Overclockers, and Dixons.

    As soon as we're able to stock with Amazon UK/EU - we certainly hope and plan to do so but that date is solely determined by Amazon at this point. If you want one, I'd personally recommend trying to order one sooner than later from any of the available distribution channels because it's not out of the realm of possibility that individual European countries start taking more restrictive measures which could severely impact shipping channels.

    OH MY GOD!, thank you so much for the response and for your other team members being able to communicate formly back to you, your news has enlightened me! I am so happy to hear its coming to amazon. And sadly my vouchers can't be used with "Scan, or Overclockers" e.t.c 😞 And lets be fair, AMAZON has better warranty than such sites, because if you have issues you go through amazon first, and if second the manufacturer, AMAZON is one of the top retail companies on earth for a reason 🙂 I'm happy that "HTC" Will be bringing to "AMAZON UK" that's really hyped me up the waiting chain.

    No rush at buying one right now though, with the lock downs going on and more, money should be spent wisely (Food e.t.c)

    @SanityGaming - I totally get it - there's a number of advantages to ordering from Amazon. I just can't really overemphasize how messed up global logistics are due to COVID in general - I haven't heard back from our EU team yet on this unfortunately. I've been locked down for 10 days myself in SF.

    So sorry to hear about your lockdown, 😞 And I appreciate you looking into the sales at the same time 🙂 and with these lock downs going on, and unable to go anywhere, I'd really want an ELITE, plus im sure HTC have had a much more sales increase or will due to the global lockdowns and more.  People need stuff to do and keep them active!

    I'm ready 100% to buy viveport and more, and I'm already bored as the UK have issued lock downs for those sick and not sick!

    @SanityGaming - still asking around for offical word from our EU team but like I said, in many countries, Amazon isn't accepting stock unless it's medical supplies or household essentials so I wouldn't be surprised if that hampered any efforts to stock there. Everything is super messed up right now - ordering on Vive.com will probably have the highest chance of getting a shipment in the mail before things get more restrictive.

    I'd rather order from amazon, especially as I have some gift cards to use and more 🙂 that and I already own a couple of HTC VR things that i brought from amazon.

    @SanityGaming - I am still trying to get offical word but global logistics are a mess right now due to COVID. Amazon is blocking all non-essential shipments to it's warehouses in many countries so I'm not sure Amazon is super feasible right now if they aren't stocked already.

    SO what you're saying is, you do plan to sell the "COSMOS ELITE" on "AMAZON UK", but you're finding it hard to get them to stock it for resale, do you have any plans on when I could buy it then from "AMAZON UK",  please.

    Thanks.

  11. This has to be a joke, I can buy any product nearly anywhere else and you pay like £20 or so and get entitled to free shipping.... hell i can buy a mobile phone, a TV, graphics card that costs more than these 3 trackers "2080ti"...

    And I wont have to pay shipping,  companies happily ignore shipping costs if you pay high, this is a disgusting money grab..

    Hell, I can buy these from (Amazon, Ebay) e.t.c and get free shipping..

    @SanityGaming, full body tracking would technically be the most stable on 2.0 tracking with 3 or 4 stations because the additional stations will reduce the chance of tracking loss from occlusion. That said, it will work fine with BS 1.0 - you are just more susceptible to occlusion. Unless you're using a mo-cap with a tool like Ikinema Orion - there's probably not a huge performance gain relative to the cost but it depends on your use-case. We recommend Trakstrap for mounting them.

    Note that there are two generations of trackers. The original (grey logo) and Vive Tracker 2018 (blue logo). The older one works only with 1.0 stations whereas the newer one works with both generations.

    Still haven't told me about the "Wands" / "Controllers" ,  about 1.0 vs 2.0 why is elite getting 1.0 and not 2.0...

    aren't 2.0 way better

  13. 10 hours ago, VibrantNebula said:

    @SanityGaming Don't get me wrong, there are definitely huge benefits to 2.0 but mostly if you're doing advanced setups. For standard room-scale setups, there isn't a huge difference except that 2.0 will give you more flexibility overall in where to mount the stations since you don't have the optical sync limitations. I believe that 1.0 tracking deals with reflections a little better because the algorithms are more mature and the solves are computationally simpler since you only have two stations but that situation may have changed since the launch of Index proper.

    I don't have a great public answer for the recent question except that "it's complex" and that it relates to supply chain constraints. Since Valve is the only authorized manufacturer of 2.0 stations, that part of the supply chain is not directly within HTC's control (unlike 1.0 stations which we're authorized to manufacturer).

    Fun fact: I actually bought a house in-Denver based on the fact that it had a room that was perfect for VR. It unfortunately only ended up only directly serving me for about 8 months before I got called up to the major leagues to work for Vive directly but it's super funny that I'm that big of a VR nerd that VR was influencing my living situation that deeply.

    Well I'll be using "Full-Body Tracking" should I use 1.0 or 2.0 stations?

    Also why are HTC giving 1.0 controllers with the "Elite" when we have 2.0?  Isn't 2.0 far superior?

  14. @VibrantNebulaThat's what I thought thanks, so all these people saying 2.0 is way better than 1.0 are clearly insane, thanks 🙂 As I plan to buy the COSMOS ELITE!

    And I'd only be using the headset in a standard size bedroom that I use for a gaming room, as I live in a 5 bedroom house (Got to do something with spare empty rooms)

    That leaves me to, why the heck are "HTC" selling 1.0 controllers instead of 2.0 with the "ELITE", what's the difference? Please.

  15. I'd love to buy this from "AMAZON". Thanks.  Your support is terrible and disgusting. I opened a ticket last year in february, i update it every once in a while, I never get a response, I've actually tried (Gmail & Outlook) not a single response 🙂 I'd rather give "AMAZON" my money! besides they offer better support (Thanks to being in the United Kingdom) If I have an issue with my "VR" I can contact them and get a new one at my door the very next day and return the old one with in 30 days 😄 Thanks next day delivery , Thanks AMAZON!

    @VibrantNebula

    Okay, you're obviously new to computers to start with...

    You're "LIQUID COOLING" a lower end performing CPU for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

    Next of all, your GPU is a budget low end GPU (In terms of GB), it's not meant for intensive gaming, especially anything above 1080P, Not even 2018+ games!, For higher end games you're looking at an 8GB card..  You're using 4GB..  I don't know what you're expecting, Decades ago, such small rammed GPU's like 2GB e.t.c were set in "Crossfire - SLI" modes...   you have 1 Option, upgrade... You can buy a "390X 8GB" from EBAY that would do better than your 580

    Because your computer is a lowend (budget) build,  your games in "VR GAMES" are auto sampling and adjusting resolutions to better stand a headsets abilities!  Nothing is wrong, buy a better computer or upgrade and you'll get better resolution it's simple... and as someone else stated above me, again the games are auto adjusting.

    Also you should be using 2 Base stations not 1..
