VIVE Manager for android - 1.0.32 – release notes
Released May 13th, 2022

What’s new

  • Now supports casting to phone directly with the latest VIVE Manager (Focus 3 software 3.0.999.418 or later is required).
  • Now supports enterprise features for easier and faster LBE SLAM map creation.

Enhancements and bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where username input field may not work when setting Wi-Fi.
  • Stability improvements.

Enterprise features*

  • [Enterprise feature] Show Tracking map capacity ratio when creating map
  • [Enterprise feature] Supports uploading ArUco profile to HMD (HMD needs to be customized accordingly with this feature).
  • [Enterprise feature] Supports quick play area creation with HMD floor height, boundary size and forward direction.

Casting to phone

Device requirement

  • Focus 3 with software version 4.0.999.418 or later
  • Android phone with Android 9.0 or later

Steps to pair VIVE Manager with VIVE Focus 3

Cast Screen

  • Make sure HMD and phone have enabled Wi-Fi. (Not necessary to have internet connection)
  • In VIVE Manager, tap Settings. Tap the headset you would like to connect.
  • Then click Cast screen to enter casting mode.

  •  Vive manager will pop up below prompt, and please proceed the next steps inside Focus 3.

  •  Please click “Accept” inside the Focus 3 when prompt, then it will start casting to your phone.

Android for now. iOS update is still under development.
