I finally got a chance to try this today but when I opened my installed console, that page (with Beta) is not there 😕 I am guessing this is because I am using the Steam version. How do I download the "standalone" version in the first place ? I uninstalled my current version and tried using the original setup file I had (from a year or so ago), but after it installed Viveport the installer closed and did not install the console, instead it told me to download the console from Steam again. The problem being that I am trying to setup a new PC and I would ideally like to install the same version of the console that is on my old pc (never had any issues with the console on that pc), which is 2.0.xxxx not 2.1.xxxx. I am having a multitude of issues getting a stable connection with the steam version (this shows when I open the steamvr performance graph, lots of pink lines) which was not present on my old setup, so I would really like to at least try the standalone version to see if it makes any difference, but for the life of me I can not figure out where to get it from. Please could you put me out of my misery and point me in the right direction where I can grab a copy of the standalone console (2.0.xx) ? Many thanks in advance 🙂
