stvmyr
Hi there! I've got a 2018 (blue logo) Vive Tracker connected to a RaspberryPi. I want to receive the Tracking information via the USB cable that is directly attached to the tracker instead of using the USB dongle. As far as i know, this should be possible. At least the VIVE Mars Kit does exactly this. The Developer guidelines only handle the virtualized Button presses. I'm already added the rules to linux and be able to see the three "/dev/hidrawX" devices. But a hexdump didn't gave me anything. Is there any documentation or open source code that shows how to do this properly? I would love to skip the overhead of using SteamVR or a SDK for the simple task of receiving tracking Data, and rather do it manually. Thanks Steven
VIVE_chengnay
Hi @stvmyr, Could you explain in detailed on what have you done? And what's the result you get? You can refer to the developer guideline here.
