JulienActiveMe Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Hello, I have this error that keeps popping up in Unity, when a HMD is connected via Netcode and [EGL] Unable to acquire context: EGL_BAD_SURFACE: An EGLSurface argument does not name a valid surface (window, pixel buffer or pixmap) configured for GL rendering. OpenGLS3 is required because it will not build if Vulkan is selected. Can anyone tell me what exactly it is related to and where I should look for to optimise this ? Thanks !
VIVE_chengnay Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Hi @JulienActiveMe, May I know is anything malfunction when you see the error message?
JulienActiveMe Posted September 19, 2023 Author Posted September 19, 2023 Hello @VIVE_chengnay, Nothing seems to be malfunctioning. It's just annoying to have an error popping a few hundred times on a five minute session and not knowing what it is that causes it. Maybe someone knew about this and had an idea for a fix. You never know. Thanks
Nick Marmaras Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Hello @VIVE_chengnay, I also have the same error message on a standalone build using XR Elite. Any ideas? I'm using OpenGLS3 also. Thanks!
EliotR Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Hello @VIVE_chengnay, Reviving this thread because I have the same issue. Is there any workaround ?
kun Posted January 23 Posted January 23 i think this throw on call Graphics.Blit (src, dest) in OnRenderImage but i just send origin renderTexuture to dest,
VIVE_chengnay Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Hi @EliotR, Sorry for late reply. Currently there is no workaround and the error logs shouldn't cause any problem to your content. Or your content is having issues due to those error logs?
