VIVE Business Streaming - 1.12.8

  • Added native support for VRChat eye and facial expressions.
  • Add VBS settings backup mechanism to avoid settings lost.
  • Improved facial expression in VRChat .
  • Improved update mechanism.
  • Improved controller compatibility with SteamVR 1.26 for VR titles that don’t recognize VIVE XR Elite/Focus 3 controllers.
  • Improved foveal compression with XR Elite.
  • Fixed an issue which prevent audio streaming from stopping when there’s no audio data available from the PC side.
  • Fixed jittering issue with some OpenXR content developed by UE 4.27 or newer.
  • Fixed an issue where the update progress dialog could not be minimized.
  • Fixed an issue where SteamVR would crash when the client's in-VR settings were changed.
  • Fixed an issue where the server would fail to restart StreamVR when the graphics mode was changed.
  • Now supports OpenXR Wrist Tracker extension with SteamVR 1.27.
  • Maintain “Hand and controller at the same time” checked when gray out due to “Hand tracking” disable, since this option takes effect for VIVE Wrist Tracker and controller at the same time.
  • Optimized hand tracking checkbox section to avoid UI confusion .
  • Revised update progress UI and fixed potential update failure issue.

  • Stability improvements.
  • Popout notifications when passthrough mode is enabled.

Since this version I can't get the Wrist tracker Button press using VBS and Unreal at all. I'am using Steam VR 1.27.5 and UE 5.2.1. No change in setup I just upgrade to VBS 1.12.8.

When I use the Test Controller features in SteamVR, I can see that the UI is different

With VBS 1.12.8 and SteamVR 1.27.5 this is the UI : Button Press is "X"



With previous version VBS 1.11.18b UI of test Controller look like this



Of course I change Button binding to X instead of Y after Upgrade to 1.12.8


Other part of my setup :


In Unreal Engine I bind motionSources to "Tracker_Camera" and "TrackerKeyboard"

Do you have Any Idea ?

Does the Wrist tracker PCVR Extension for openXR is on the way ?
