henneu
Hi all,I think there should be a function to get dummy eyetracking data from the API. That way it would be pretty much easier to debug code due to not wearing the headset. Is something similar already implemented or at least planed? Corvus
Dummy eye tracking data is currently not part of the SDK. What kind of dummy data or scenarios would you need for debugging/testing?
henneu
In my case some dummy eye movement, which moves the gaze in a fixed pattern, or even a fixed gaze direction with some noise, would be enough. Al I need is some kind of data from the SDK without the need of putting on the headset.
Daniel_Y
Currently, if HMD is not Vive Pro Eye, Unity plugin will provide a fixed eye gaze according to HMD movemt.
henneu
That's a nice quick fix for me. Thanks a lot!
