  1. I think USBDeview is a very good idea at this point. Try that and report back your findings. Thank you, -John C
  2. Did you try any of the troubleshooting steps in the thread? Thanks, -John C
  3. I think we can probably rule the linkbox out since you tried to bypass it and that was no good. This is kind of a long shot, but have you connected your power directly to the HMD bypassing the linkbox? I know normally we just bypass the HMD and USB but maybe try the power and see what happens? I am still suspicious of the USB, so maybe we should try USBDeview again after we've done all of this, that almost always solves USB issues. The Inateck card is up to date on drivers as well, I trust? Thanks, -John C
  4. Can you provide specs for both your PCs? Thank you, -John C
  5. Am I understanding correctly that you had sent in your HMD for repair/replacement? If so, could you PM me your ticket number so I can see what was done. Thanks! -John C
  6. Have you tried removing SteamVR/Vive USB drivers yet? This may help you: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?s=6643267c2b51f08c93e8fc35bf35aa48&ref=2748-WEIK-9562 Thank you, -John C
  7. Hi GreatGamesYT, can you explain in a little more detail? Has this always happened? You're going through the room setup in SteamVR right? Thanks, -John C
  8. You shouldn't have to argue with them about that: The code in the box will redeem Fallout 4 VR. Thanks, -John C
  9. Hi Can you clarify what's going on? You're trying to install Steam? Or Viveport? Or SteamVR? Thanks, -John C
  10. Either of you received your shipping notice yet? Thanks, -John C
  11. Well, let's go a little further. Try this out: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?s=6643267c2b51f08c93e8fc35bf35aa48&ref=2748-WEIK-9562 That's kind of the end all be all of USB driver troubleshooting. Thanks, -John C
  12. The first thing I would try is removing and reinstalling SteamVR USB drivers. You can do that in SteamVR settings. I can walk you through it if you're having trouble finding it, but it's fairly straight forward. Thanks, -John C
  13. Would you please still send me the order number? We'd like to look into why it was taking so long. Thanks, -John C
  14. Sadly, they've hidden themselves on the opposite side of the planet! Understood. If you do end up ordering from us directly and you have any problems whatsoever, please message me here and I will do my utmost to clear it up and resolve it for you. EDIT: Also, to answer your question, any new purchases of Vive WILL contain a code that allows Fallout 4 VR to be redeemed (It's the code that comes in the box.) If for whatever reason, there is no code in the box, contact us and we'll sort it out for you. Thanks, -John C
  15. Can you two PM me with order numbers? Thanks, -John C
  16. Try reconnecting the 3-in-1 cable. Sometimes display quality issues can be because of loose or bad cables. If you have another HDMI cable, try using that temporarily to see if it makes a difference. Thanks, -John C
  17. I can confirm that did succeed at putting another headset on the same base station. In fact, there's no limit to how many you could put on the same base stations, as points out, the base stations are essentially "dumb" so there isn't a limitation in that regard. You can have as many people as you want in the play area so long as they don't block the tracking sensors from the base stations. Of course, you probably shouldn't have anyone too close to the player for safety reasons. Yes, we are aware of Steam Tracking 2.0. It's very exciting stuff! It is, we set up demos of Star Trek: Bridge Crew in that exact configuration, Four(!) HMDs and Eight(!!!) wands in the same 9x9 square with only two base stations. Thank you, -John C
  18. That's great! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. -John C
  19. Well that's great to hear! Keep us updated, okay? Thank you! -John C
  20. Try this first: Isolate the USB hardware as the source of the issue One of the most common problems with Vive customers is related to the USB settings or setup. Since the tracking, positioning, buttons input and status of all the devices is sent to the computer via USB, a USB issue will lead to major problems with the overall Vive experience. Before proceeding with these steps, make sure of the following: All the cable connections have been verified and tightened. The link box has been properly connected, on its right order. Original USB provided cables are being used. HMD is receiving power. Customer is not using USB HUBs or USB concentrators. Vive USB is connected directly to the computer’s mainboard ports. Change port from 3.0 to 2.0 USB 2.0 is the most compatible interface on modern devices. USB 3.0 is faster, but is not always stable with configurations such as Vive. If the Link Box is currently connected to a USB 3.0 port, advise switching the connection to a USB 2.0 port instead. NOTE: For the best experience, connect the USB cables of Vive directly to the PC, instead of a USB Hub. and then this: Remove All SteamVR USB Devices The Vive system is composed of about 9 different USB drivers, including Bluetooth, controllers, camera, receivers and audio, among others. Due to different reasons, like software updates, change of connections, system updates or malfunction of a device, the USB drivers might get into conflict and reinstalling them is a good way to get everything back to its working state. Go to SteamVR > Settings > Developer. Click on Remove All SteamVR USB Devices. Once finished, the program will prompt a confirmation of the process. Disconnect the Link box AC Adapter and the Link box USB cable from the computer. Close SteamVR. Connect the AC Adapter back to the Link box and then connect the USB cable directly to the computer to a USB 2.0 port. Open SteamVR and check if all the devices all properly recognized, by going to SteamVR > Settings > USB > Refresh. These are the default drivers: Vive Link Box: · Hub · Hub Controller · Bluetooth Vive Headset: · Watchman Board · Camera · Audio Device · Main Board · Wireless Receiver 1 · Wireless Receiver 2 Note: This list includes the drivers of the devices directly connected to the computer by USB, as it is the HMD and Link box. Controllers and Base Stations are connected to the headset through Bluetooth and then to the computer, so these devices are not going to be visible on this list. If it's still not working, let me know and we'll try something a little more drastic. Thanks, -John C
  21. Ah so it ended up being the linkbox in your case. They should be able to replace your linkbox for you if you contact them. Did you do that already? Irk26 has it right. You can reach them at www.vive.com/us/support/contactus Of course, change the "us" part to your appropriate country or just navigate to the site as Irk26 suggested. I can also continue to assist here if you prefer. Thanks, -John C

I'm afraid Brazil is out of our service area. Where did you originally purchase it? Thanks, -John C
  23. It does seem like there's an issue with the HMD. You should contact your local support chat for an RMA if you haven't already. Thanks, -John C
