Install Direct Preview device APK failed.

Hello,

Using Unity 2019.4.8.f1 and a Focus Plus. 

Trying to use Direct Preview and receiving the messages.

I tried a lot but could not solve the issue.

"Uninstall Direct Preview device APK failed."

"Install Direct Preview device APK failed."

"Create Direct Preview folder failed, /sdcard/Direct/Preview folder might be exist!"

"Push config failed"

Need help here. 😑

I am sure I am doing a very silly thing somewhere but could not find it.

For me, the solution was adding the android SDK tools to my system path variables

I.E adding stuff like this C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2020.3.18f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\XXX for tools, platform tools

Hi @cetintuker, did the Direct preview work for you ?

I cannot get it to work, the connection just times out may it be over USB or WiFi.

@dev_imag-ing hello. No. I am just manually copying apk to device and install it every time I need to test my app. For some reason it does not work. I gave up trying.

If it can help, I managed to install it : you have to connect  your headset to your pc, and delete the "DirectPreview" folder on your device :

So, can direct download it if you complete package of it, where can get the obb file of it, it also alow you to direct download it. Sometime it depends on the device you can choose any of them according to your ease

So, if it's not work for you you can also choose up the other options for downloading purposes.
